Sangiving Community Lunch at Taller
En el almuerzo anual de Taller Puertorriqueño regalan ropa y comida caliente a cientos de personas de la comunidad. Dona, visítalos, comparte con tu tiempo como voluntario preparando alimentos, sirviendo comidas, administrando ropa y mucho más. Taller hace una llamada a unirse a sus esfuerzos, donando: ropa de invierno, zapatos, conservas y alimentos no perecederos. Todas las donaciones se pueden dejar en el lobby de Taller. Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade

Festival Acción Colombia y Sal Dulce
Acción Colombia le invita a iniciar las celebraciones decembrinas en el Decimoquinto (15o) Festival Navideño Latinoamericano Sal y Dulce. Contarán con la participación de grupos musicales, bailes, comida típica de diferentes países latinos, entretenimiento para los niños y la familia en general. Una de las actividades centrales del Festival será la premiación del Concurso de Faroles de Sal y Dulce, que premia la elaboración y el alumbrado de los faroles en la víspera de la Inmaculada Concepción. La cita es el domingo 4 de diciembre de 12:00 a 5:00 PM.
Acción Colombia invites you to start the December celebrations at the Fifteenth (15th) Latin American Sal y Dulce Festival, on Sunday, December 4, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. As in previous years, they will have musical groups, dances, cuisine from different Latin American countries, entertainment for children, and programming for the whole family. The awarding of the Lantern Contest is one of the central activities of the Sal y Dulce Festival. The contest aims to preserve the making and lighting of lanterns in our cities the eve of day of the Immaculate Conception.

LumiNature en el zoológico de Filadelfia

Deck the Hall Light Show
Do you see what I see? Philadelphia’s majestic City Hall serves as the backdrop for nightly light shows in Center City. The west façade of the historic building is illuminated during a free show every hour at the top of the hour after dark. LumiNature at the Philadelphia Zoo
This immersive display transforms the Philadelphia Zoo’s Day-scape into a nighttime multimedia spectacle. After the animals are tucked away for the evening, the zoo lights up with more than one million holiday lights in 14 distinct zones. Electrical Light Show in Franklin Square
Franklin Square celebrates the winter season with nightly spectacle of light shows inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s legendary kite and key experiment. Free light shows —set to a soundtrack of seasonal tunes— illuminate the square every 30 minutes from 5 p.m. until close. Before or after the show, grab a burger or beverage fireside from the on-site Square Burger, play a round of festive Chilly Philly Mini Golf or hop aboard the classic Parx Liberty Carousel. From Home to Headquarters exhibit
The Peter Wentz Farmstead is pleased to announce the opening of its brand-new exhibit, “From Home to Headquarters: Washington in Worcester”. Visitors are invited to go back in time to October of 1777 when the Peter Wentz Farmstead was transformed from a family home to the military headquarters of General George Washington and his wartime military family. Learn about the troops’ movements in Montgomery County and their Campaign and the effects their presence had on residents like the Wentz family. Landsdale, September 30 through November 29.
