On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Pennsylvania for Modern Courts (PMC) held a virtual Q&A session with over four hundred attendees. The purpose was to hear the responses of Pennsylvania judicial candidates to various questions. The CEO of PMC, Ms. Debra Gross, emphasized the organization’s dedication to a fair and accessible judicial process in Pennsylvania.

Ms. Gross passionately communicated PMC’s purpose to the participants, stressing their commitment to establishing and maintaining an impartial, fair, accessible, and respectful judicial process in Pennsylvania. These principles are of great importance to PMC, as they firmly believe that a well-functioning and just judiciary is crucial for a thriving society in Pennsylvania commonwealth.

Aligning with their mission, PMC has tirelessly advocated for judicial reforms that uphold the rule of law, ensure access to justice, and establish a diverse, qualified, and independent judiciary. PMC aims to create an inclusive and fair legal environment that upholds democratic principles and safeguards the rights of all individuals, regardless of their background or social status.

These reforms are necessary due to historical disparities and discrepancies that have hindered equal access to justice in Pennsylvania’s judiciary system. However, PMC actively works towards addressing these issues through educational programs and initiatives that empower the public. They seek to raise awareness about the deficiencies in the legal process and inspire individuals to actively participate in positive change. By encouraging open dialogue and sharing their legal expertise, PMC aims to foster an environment of understanding and collaboration towards a more just and inclusive judiciary system.
