Ten countries will be represented in this year’s Women’s Tournament.
PHILADELPHIA. –Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Commissioner Susan Slawson announced today that teams have been drawn for the 2024 Philadelphia International Unity Cup Women’s Tournament. The draw took place at FDR Park in South Philadelphia.
This is the second year that the women’s tournament will be a part of the Unity Cup, Philadelphia’s World-Cup style soccer tournament that celebrates the city’s diverse immigrant communities and unites the city through soccer.
“I’m thrilled that the women’s tournament is returning as part of the 2024 Philadelphia International Unity Cup,” said Commissioner Slawson. “Women’s professional sports are enjoying a surge in popularity, and Parks & Rec is proud to be a part of this moment. Our priority is to increase access to sports and athletic opportunities for everyone.”
Ten teams representing Europe, Africa, North America, Central America, and South America will be participating in this year’s Women’s Tournament:

The Women’s Tournament will begin in mid August, and the championship game will take place at noon on Sunday, October 6, at Subaru Park in Chester. More information about the Philadelphia International Unity Cup can be found online.
