It shocked the world that the primary Putin opponent, Aleksia Navalny, died in prison. Putin had previously imprisoned Navalny, and the Putin operatives orchestrated his death.
He flew back to Russia, knowing he would be imprisoned and possibly killed. His courage and that of his supporters are amazing to all who follow dictators and their oppression of people.
To make matters worse, Russians would not turn over his body to his family so they could do an autopsy on Navalny’s body. His wife has taken up the torch of freedom, and by doing this, she is putting herself at the top of Putin’s murder list.
Putin had ordered his agents to poison and kill people even though they were living in other countries. Recently, the helicopter pilot who deserted the Russian war and took his powerful war machine to the Ukrainian army was shot multiple times and was run over by a vehicle in Spain.
Incredibly, some elected officials in the USA and some wanting to be elected are now in love with this man who, for 25 years, has been killing people inside of Russia and outside in other countries. And to show their support for Putin and his illegal war, they are holding up aid to the besieged government of Ukraine.
Presidential candidate Trump commented that he would “encourage” Russia “to do whatever the hell they want” to our allies. Biden called that “un-American.”
Trump’s bromance with the sociopathic Putin should embarrass all citizens of our country.
In the history of LATIN AMERICA, we have seen governments that tortured and killed their dissidents. Years ago, President Marcos of the Philippines, the Shah of Iran, and President Pinochet of Chile reached beyond their borders to kill those who opposed them.
And we must push back against all these inhumane acts by rogue governments.
Navalny’s death at the hands of the murderous dictator Putin has given momentum to the push for military assistance for Ukraine.
All Americans must voice their outrage at this murder and support all who oppose this terrorist killer.
It’s the American thing to do.
