Philadelphia, PA —Esperanza announces the appointment of Jael Conde as its new Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Jael Conde is renowned for her strategic and creative approach to marketing. She enjoyed an impressive nine-year career as the Director of Community Marketing at Mendoza Group, where she learned from top marketing strategists in the industry. Additionally, she has held roles as the social media Director for El Sol Latino newspaper and Marketing Director for El Zol Radio 97.1 FM in Philadelphia. On an international level, Jael served as the Regional Director for National Coffee Park and PANACA in her native Colombia.
Jael is an alumnus of Rutgers University and recently earned a master’s degree in management and marketing from Harvard University Extension School. Her commitment to continuous learning also led her to complete professional development courses in social media marketing at Harvard University, as well as the Disney Institute’s Approach to Leadership Excellence program.
Throughout her career, Jael has garnered numerous accolades. These include multiple recognitions from the Philadelphia City Council, several Health Insurance Marketplace Circle of Champions awards, a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasting Award for excellence, and a Civilian of the Year award from the Mount Laurel Police Department in New Jersey. Her most recent honors include the 2021 AL DÍA 40 Under Forty Award and the 2022 10 Under 40 Emerging Leaders – Power 100 Who’s Who in Latino Pennsylvania.
Beyond her professional achievements, Jael is deeply committed to community service. She serves as a volunteer crew member for Anthony Robbins Research International and is a board member of both the Hispanic Leadership Association of New Jersey and Acción Colombia. Jael is also the Marketing Director for the Latin American Book Fair and contributes her marketing and PR expertise as the lead strategist for the Pennsylvania Latino Convention Organizing Committee.
In a recent interview, Jael Conde stated, «I feel a tremendous sense of excitement and responsibility in joining Esperanza, one of the nation’s largest Hispanic community development agencies with a nearly 40-year legacy. With a team of over 650 dedicated employees, our collective aim is to empower individuals across various avenues—ranging from education and housing to economic development, arts and culture, and social change. Jael was recently spotlighted in Visit Philadelphia’s national ‘Hispanic Voices’ campaign, a four-part video series. This initiative aims to reach bi-cultural and bi-lingual Hispanic audiences across the top 25 Nielsen Hispanic markets and is estimated to reach 1.26 million with over 4.5 million impressions.
Contributing another noteworthy achievement to her career journey, Jael will soon be honored by ExpoFe USA with the Latino Diamond Award for Professional Excellence on November 11, recognizing her persistence, professionalism, and commitment to the Latino community.
