SEPTA is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the positive identification of a suspect wanted for threatening a SEPTA employee.
The incident took place today, March 30 at approximately 6:40 a.m. at Girard Station along the Broad Street Line.
SEPTA Transit Police say a woman stepped over the turnstile, and when a SEPTA cashier asked her to pay the fare, the suspect showed a small pocketknife and threatened to slash the tires of the cashier’s car. The suspect then boarded a northbound train.
Images of the suspect are included with this email. Anyone with information about this woman is asked to contact SEPTA Transit Police at (215) 580-8111.

La Policía de Tránsito de SEPTA dice que una mujer pasó por encima del torniquete y cuando un cajero de SEPTA le pidió que pagara la tarifa, la sospechosa mostró una pequeña navaja y amenazó con cortar las ruedas del automóvil del cajero. La sospechosa luego abordó un tren en dirección norte.
