Philadelphia. –The Free Library of Philadelphia is offering Federal Employee Transition Workshops to assist federal workers who are in career transitions. These workshops will provide best practices for resumes from human resource professionals, career search tips, leveraging LinkedIn, and networking opportunities.

“The Free Library is committed to supporting our communities in times of change and showing that we are here to help,” said Kelly Richards, President and Director, Free Library of Philadelphia. “These workshops are designed to help displaced federal employees with the resources, skills, and confidently navigate their job search.”

The informational workshops are led by volunteers and take place during the first two weeks of April, spreading across four locations of the Free Library System. The dates, times, and locations of the workshops are

Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional Library

Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Business Resource and Innovation Center at Parkway Central Library

Monday, April 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the South Philadelphia Library

Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Northeast Regional Library
